This picture originally looked somewhat like [link] . It's an awesome photo and I'm not sure what posessed me to mutilate it so. I'm sorry
I started with a few simple things like, darkening area's of her face and blah blah. But to give the image that "battered wife" kind of effect I needed actualy cuts. The one on her cheek I sucked from an image of a guys leg, the blood under her chin and took from a Vet-Operation guide and the little cut on her closest eyebrow was actually a crack in a brick.
I get things from the weirdest places.
